Latest news - All SRA hulls are now Vacuum Infused however a seamless hull cannot be produced using the Vacuum Infusion process. Hand layed and seamless hulls no longer available.
Prices are on individual hull pages and have been adjusted now that I have streamlined my production technique. While the resin infusion itself is
a relatively simple process, the preparation of molds and materials is a lot more labour intensive than just hand laying. The use of higher quality materials, resins and
consumable components all add to production costs.
All Sonic Racing Hulls are tested with single engines and in some cases, multiple engine combinations where applicable prior
to being released to the general public. All RTR boats are tested prior to shipping or pick up to ensure only the
highest quality product is being delivered.
I don't make claims, I state facts as I have done many hours of testing
with these products. No matter where you purchase your next hull from, be sure to do your own research and make sure your buying
a proven, well tested quality product and not just a poor copy of someone else's ideas. Unfortunately it's all too easy these days to pick up a cheap hull
only to find out it's a copy of someone else's hard work or just a poor quality item. Just remember that you get what you pay for and with all SRA hulls, that not only includes a quality - original
and well tested product, it also includes the many years of knowledge and hands on experience with building and setting up these boats.
All SRA hulls are now vacuum infused using any combination of fiberglass, Carbonfiber, Kevlar and other composite materials if required. SRA hulls do not
have rails installed as I do not use them.
Larger doesn't mean slow either as some of these boats are the fastest ever seen on Australian
waters across many classes. SRA was the first in Australia to break the 100 km/h barrier with larger model boats using model engines, peak readings
attained represent many passes at those speeds, not just one run.
